There are a lot of em there but as a beginner I would recommend you choose Blogger, as its easy and cheap and yes it's from Google.
Once you are all done with the platform you can move towards choosing the niche, most of you might be wondering what a niche is. Niche is what your blog is about, other wise termed as genre. Decide what your blog niche should be. While picking up the Niche make sure the following things are cross checked.
- You are well aware of the topic.
- Something you are comfortable and easy to update frequently.
- Niche that can actually bring a 'lot' of traffic(Number if viewers).
- Something you are passionate about.
What's after Niche?
A customized template and responsive blog. A very good interface is required for your blog to retain the viewers and keep them on your blog and responsiveness( How the blog looks at different screen sizes) is very important too.
